W+V High-Fat Coffee Recipe

So, most of you have heard the HYPE of this butter in your coffee thing, right? To be honest it's completely changed my life and so many of my clients, family and friends, PLUS it tastes delish! 

How you ask? Personally for me, currently a 16 months bullet proofer, I have;


  • no more brain fog

  • no more 12 starvation, wanting to eat everything and anything aka (HANGRY)

  • no more 2pm SLUMP, instead, more energy

  • less sugar and carb cravings

  • lunch is easier to eat healthy and make good decisions (I think the sugar cravings part applies here too)

  • lost weight and now I do not fluctuate since I have added collagen, my gut health has been better, and my hair and nails are AH-MAZING!

DO YOU HAVE TO BUY ORGANIC COFFEE?


I always knew about coffee and the high amount of pesticides that are used. I always bought organic fair trade coffee, but now I have come to learn that even with a clean trusted company, not all is created equal.  Have you ever had a cup and had horrible shakes, anxiety, headaches or what I jokingly call "cracked out".  This is the main reason people believe they don’t tolerate coffee.  It’s not coffee they don’t tolerate, it’s the mold toxins in the coffee. GO Organic!


Serving 2 (16 ounces)


INGREDIENTS:


16 ounces brewed coffee or for my non- coffee people use Yerba Mate or tea of choice

1-2 tablespoons MCT oil

1 teaspoon coconut creamer powder 

2 scoops collagen powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon ( optional)

1 teaspoon coconut sugar

Optional Immunity Boost- add 1 teaspoon Anima Mundi Apothecary - Organic Adaptogenic Powder


DIRECTIONS:

  • Brew your coffee how you normally would - I use French Press.

  • While your coffee is brewing, in a blender you will add the rest of the ingredients. 

  • FROTH- add hot coffee to blender and blend with all ingredients for about 20 seconds until nice and frothy/foamy.

  • Optional additions - Mushroom blends: Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, Lion's Mane, also Maca, vanilla, dark chocolate, etc.
